Radius QR

Terms of Use

Your responsibilities when using Radius QR, and what you can expect from us.

Effective 15 October 2026. Version 2026-10-15-v2.

Using Radius QR

These terms cover our QR editor, accounts, saved codes, hosted redirects and scan analytics. After signing in, choosing Agree and continue records your agreement to this version of the terms. If you use an account for an organisation, you must have authority to act for it.

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Contact us if you have questions before using the service.

How your codes work

Radius QR creates QR codes and provides redirects to destinations chosen by users. We do not process purchases or donations, verify payment recipients or fundraisers, or guarantee transactions. A Radius QR link does not endorse the destination, its operator or anything offered there.

Standard codes contain their destination directly. Unsaved designs stay in browser memory and may be lost when you close or reload the page. Download and keep any codes you need. Downloaded Standard codes do not depend on our redirect service, but their destination must remain available. We cannot change or disable those downloaded codes.

Advanced codes use a Radius QR short link and depend on our hosted service. You can change their destination while the code and your account remain active. Deletion, an abuse restriction or a service interruption can stop a link working. We do not promise permanent hosting. Scan counts are estimates, may include repeat visits, and are not a count of unique people.

Check the destination and test your exported code on the devices, print size and materials you intend to use before distributing it. Keep access to the destination website and review links you publish.

If you use codes for sales, fundraising or essential operations, you must provide an alternative URL, payment route or other way to complete the task that does not depend on a Radius QR redirect. Test both the code and the alternative before use and check them regularly. Do not rely on an Advanced QR link as the only way to access a business-critical service.

Acceptable use and account security

  • Do not use Radius QR for phishing, malware, fraud, impersonation, unlawful content or infringement of another person’s rights.
  • Do not try to access other people’s accounts or data, bypass usage limits, or disrupt the service through abusive automated traffic.
  • Use only destinations, logos and other content you are entitled to use. You are responsible for the content you submit and the destinations you choose.
  • Protect your sign-in email and Google account. Do not share sign-in links or tokens. Contact support if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your content

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide and secure the service, including through our service providers. This does not give us permission to use your logos in our marketing. Retention after deletion is explained in our privacy notice.

Restrictions and review

We may restrict a code or account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, address a breach of these terms, protect users or the service, or comply with law. We will keep the restriction proportionate to the issue. Urgent safety or legal issues may require action without advance notice.

Where lawful and safe, we will explain the reason and any steps you can take to resolve it. You can ask for a review by emailing radius.qr@gmail.com.

Deleting codes or leaving

You can stop using Radius QR at any time. Deleting a saved code starts a 30-day restore window and immediately disables an Advanced redirect. You can permanently delete it earlier from the Deleted tab. Permanent deletion cannot be undone: the saved code is removed immediately and its analytics and unused logos are scheduled for cleanup, with retries if needed. Otherwise, scheduled cleanup removes them after the restore window ends. Logos used by another saved code are kept.

To delete your account, follow the verified request process on our support page. Account deletion removes saved codes, logos and analytics from the live service and permanently stops your Advanced links. Old short codes remain reserved. Downloaded Standard codes are unaffected.

Availability and service changes

We take reasonable care in providing Radius QR, but maintenance, faults and provider outages can interrupt it. Destination websites are controlled by their operators. Keep copies of your exported codes and destination details.

If we plan to discontinue hosted redirects or materially reduce the service, we will give affected account holders reasonable advance notice and explain the effect on existing codes. Urgent security or legal requirements may mean shorter notice; we will explain changes as soon as reasonably possible. Any future paid offering will have its price and conditions presented for agreement before charges apply.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. The service limitations described here do not remove our responsibility where the law makes us responsible.

Changes to these terms

We will date updated terms and give affected account holders reasonable advance notice of material changes through the app or email, explaining what changes and when. We will seek agreement where required. Changes will not remove rights relating to earlier events. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using the service and request account deletion.

Questions and disputes

Email radius.qr@gmail.com with the issue and the outcome you would like. We will review it and work with you towards a resolution. Contacting us does not prevent you from seeking help from a regulator or exercising your legal rights.
